Win 3 Nights in Luxury Cape Town Hotel (closed)

The Grand Daddy Hotel

The Grand Daddy Hotel

WIN a 3 night stay at the plush and playful Grand Daddy Hotel on Cape Town's trendy Long Street. This beautiful 26-roomed, 4-star hotel has enjoyed a long history in hospitality and has been transformed into a creative, affordable and uber-chic offering in Cape Town's city centre. The Grand Daddy is the perfect base from which to explore Cape Town and the area’s endless touring options and beaches. The hotel is close to Green Market Square, award-winning restaurants, theatres, nightclubs, bars and shopping centres.

Prize:

  • 3 consecutive nights accommodation for 2 persons in a Superior Room
  • Breakfast each morning at The Showroom Café
  • Two drink vouchers to be enjoyed at the Sky Bar at the Airstream Penthouse Park on the rooftop of the hotel
  • Further two drink vouchers for the very cool ‘Daddy Cool’ Bar on the first floor
  • A set of 2 tickets to the Pink Flamingo Cinema at the Airstream Penthouse Park — South Africa's first open air cinema (subject to availability on performance nights — Monday and Thursdays)
  • A set of 2 tickets to The (new) Space Theatre, also on Long Street (subject to performance evenings)

The Grand Daddy Hotel

Chic yet delicately daring, the Grand Daddy’s rooms are subtle, stylish and silvery. Air-conditioned, en-suite and entertaining; the comforts of an internationally recognised four-star hotel room are made all the more delicious when peppered with clever local touches under the direction of Cape Town based décor-magician, Tracy Lynch.

The Café is the Grand Daddy’s friendly food centre. Offering more than your average selection of breakfasts, it’s also a good stop for buffet lunches and sandwiches and a selection of dinner dishes for those nights when you don’t feel like venturing far. Inspired by the love of all things bling, the Grand Daddy’s hotel bar, Daddy Cool, is a white and gold playspace where you can sip on fine wines, gorgeous cocktails, happy-go-lucky bubbly and a good old fashioned selection of spirits.

Luxury shouldn’t exclude playfulness so The Grand Daddy has infused all its rooms and communal spaces with magical creative touches to ensure that guests are pleasantly surprised by the unexpected, the humorous and the interesting.

I have never been to Cape Town before and I would really love to visit the mother city and I have never been on a plane before I always hear people say "I will be boarding on SAA or my flight lands at this hour", I wish I was able to afford such a life that I can also tell people how other provinces are in SA.
