Send to Kindle

Hippo Boutique

WIN a 2 night stay in the hub of Cape Town’s café culture (and just about 5 minutes from everything and everywhere else!) at the Hippo Boutique Hotel.

This hip four-star boutique hotel in Cape Town has twenty spacious standard rooms and five designer executive suites (double volume lofts with bedroom / bathroom on a mezzanine level). The rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned and come equipped with king-size beds covered in fine cotton linen.  The stainless steel kitchenettes include a microwave, filter-coffee machine and fully stocked mini-bar, hidden away behind cherry-wood sliding doors. All rooms come standard with a PC, offering you 24 hour complimentary high-speed internet access. And of course, should you prefer to make use of your own laptop, then the wireless network will also keep you connected at no extra charge.

“Very relaxed and very friendly. The helpful staff couldn’t do enough when I arrived without luggage. Excellent restaurants below and good amenities in the hotel. I’ll definitely stay again.” – as quoted on TripAdvisor

The three excellent restaurants on the ground floor, all open onto a veranda where you can breakfast at leisure or enjoy a late afternoon cocktail. Greens not only serves breakfast but also modern and ‘easy’ food (from wood-fired pizzas to lamb-chops and fresh salads).  Then there is Fat Cactus offering Mexican food and tequilas that will keep you going back for more. And last-but-not-least: Simply Asia for simply the best Thai food in town.

The friendly staff will happily assist you round the clock with any queries you might have :)

The Prize

Valued at R5900, the prize includes:

  • 2 consecutive nights for 2 people in one of our exclusive individually branded Suites
  • Breakfast daily at Greens
  • 1 Dinner at Fat Cactus
  • 1 Dinner at Simply Asia
  • 1 Bottle of wine on arrival
  • Airport transfers, if required (flights for own account)

“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at the Hippo Boutique and received impeccable customer service from the first online inquiry we made. Our room was one-of-a-kind. Totally modern, refreshing, and felt very safe. There was a ton of space, outdoor views and we loved the duplex layout. I wish we stayed longer to really take advantage of the kitchen and other amenities, but luckily the restaurant next door was delicious. It was also nice to be so close to everything in Cape Town. Can’t wait to go back!” – as quoted on TripAdvisor
