This is an incredible image - a hallmark of tropical African sunset! It reminds me of an evening nearly 50 years back when I was hitch-hiking between Nairobi & Mombasa. The last ride before the afternoon ended saw me outside a sprawling farm on the outskirts of Nairobi National Park! The scene was uncanilly similar but with the added bonus of a heard of elephants as they ambled on into the sunset whilst enjoying their evening meal of acacia & other African shrub! I moved closer to the farm gate along the main road as it was becoming dark and it was getting dangerous with all those wild animals around! Finally I got a ride around mid-night. It was scarey at the time but the sunset scenery with the giraffe & the heard of elephants stayed seared in my psyche! Thanks for giving me a free ride into the corridors of my past days in Africa. God bless you..
