Hansgrohe Masters of Water Lifesaving Series on Kings Beach
Be sure not to miss the 2010 Hansgrohe Masters of Water Lifesaving Series on Kings Beach on the 19th of December 2009 at 13h00. This 3 part series kicks off in Port Elizabeth, followed by a trip to Cape Town in January and then culminating in Durban, where the 2010 Hansgrohe Master of Water will be announced.
Following its inaugural success, Hansgrohe continues to build on this annual event, to promote training and development in this volunteer sport, Hansgrohe invites 31 top lifesaving athletes from across the country to participate and compete at an international level in 2 main categories; beach and surf. Hansgrohe and Lifesaving SA are enthusiastic to also involve future lifesavers and have therefore included ‘Nippers’ in the 2010 Series. 40 Young and eager trainee lifesavers aged between 12 and 14 years old will be on the beach from 13h00 to compete in 4 events; body board, Malibu board, beach sprints and beach flags, in addition receiving further mentorship from the 31 top athletes competing.
