I ♥ Brenton on Sea

I ♥ Brenton on Sea

Hi, I’m Derrik from Brenton Beach House in Brenton on Sea on the Garden Route.

Brenton on Sea IS BEST KNOWN FOR its tranquillity and long sandy beaches.

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AT Castle rock or on Fishermans walk. See the best sunsets all within a few minutes from the Brenton Beach House.

THE BEST sunset PICTURES CAN BE TAKEN FROM the Fishermans walk.

OTHER HAPPY SNAPS AT the Brenton Blue butterflies or the Fynbos flowers.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S GOOD, I LIKE TO walk or run the 5km long beach.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, I LIKE TO just sit on the beaches above the beach and watch the waves breaking or read a good book in front of the fire place of the Brenton Beach House.

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS October to end May, BECAUSE this is summer and Brenton on Sea is at its best.

MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST SPOT IS Nauticus in Brenton on Sea.

FOR LUNCH, I SUGGEST Caffe Mario at the Knysna Waterfront which is situated right on the waters edge.

MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IS Pembreys, TRY Peters innovative cooking.

BEST LATE NIGHT SNACK FROM the Bell Tavern at the Belvidere Manor Hotel.

MY FAVOURITE meeting SPOT IS the Turbine Boutique Hotel, a must to visit.

FOR A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN TRY the Knysna Waterfront.

IF YOU WANT TO MEET LOCALS, GO TO the Sedgefield market on Saturday morning.

Brenton on Sea’s BEST KEPT SECRET IS the Brenton Blue butterfly.

MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO WITH FRIENDS IS play golf at Simola or Pezula.

FOR SOME LIVE MUSIC, I LIKE TO GO TO Woodmill Lane.

TO RELAX AND RESTORE MY SOUL, I LIKE TO walk the beach to Buffalo Bay and back.

IF YOU’RE FEELING ADVENTUROUS, TRY mountain biking in the nearby forests or take a shark cage dive.

MY FAVOURITE WALK IS in the Robberg nature reserve near Plettenberg Bay.

MY FAVOURITE cycle SHOP IS Knysna Cycle Works.

IF YOU’RE HERE IN July, JOIN IN THE FUN AT Knysna Oyster Festival.

MY FAVOURITE GALLERY IS Thesen house gallery. CHECK OUT THE sculptures.

MY FAVOURITE BUILDING IS the George Rex Church, FOR ITS history.

TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN? A FUN OUTING IS the Brenton beach.

BEST CHEAP AND CHEERFUL OUTING IS the Friday night market.

WHEN MONEY’S NO OBJECT, I LIKE TO go to the Simola or Pezula spa and relax.

THE MOST UNUSUAL THING I SEE HERE IS how cool the people are compared to the big cities.

MY FAVOURITE WEEKEND GETAWAY IS one of the game parks.

WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I just think how fortunate I am and visit the township tours.

I Love Brenton on Sea BECAUSE it’s just paradise. The perfect spot to relax.

Brenton Beach House

Brenton Beach House

Brenton Beach House

Brenton on Sea – the hidden jewel of Knysna. Brenton Beach House is a very pretty white Cape Cod style guest house in a quiet road overlooking the Indian Ocean, only a few minutes walk from the lovely golden Brenton beach (5km long). Although we offer a sumptuous breakfast, Brenton Beach House is the only luxury standard B&B in Brenton on Sea with light catering facilities in every studio room to offer guests flexibility for lazy evenings “dining-in”.
