Dolphins by Starlight at uShaka Marine World

Send to Kindle

The word is out – uShaka Marine World is hosting Christmas this year!  ‘Dolphins by Starlight’ takes place from December 14th – 18th at the uShaka Marine World dolphin stadium – this spectacular show is definitely the way to get your Christmas festivities off to a good start …

Dolphins by Starlight at Ushaka Marine WorldThe show is all about family, songs, laughter and holiday spirit.  Its also a time to look back on 2010 and the goodwill our wonderful country spread across the world in hosting the World Cup.  The show includes songs like Jingle Bells, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Have Yourself a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock and Feliz Navidad.  The good old favourites like Silent Night, Joy to the World and Joyful Joyful add the finishing touch.  If you’re not feeling Christmassy after this then bah humbug to you!

Dolphins by Starlight is made up of a stellar (excuse the pun) cast of Shelly McLean, Clive Gumede, Frank Graham as Santa and Judith Hawthorne as Mrs Claus.  Liam Magner and Karen Logan play elves and the Durban Gospel Choir and live concert band provide the music.  The graceful dolphins of Sea World do however take centre stage and spread the message that we need to look after our oceans.

The opening night of Dolphins by Starlight will be a particularly special one as 1700 under privileged children and pensioners have been invited by sponsors First National Bank and uShaka Marine World to share in the Christmas Fun.

The fantastic show is produced by Wayne Scott and directed by Karen van Pletsen and both Wayne and Karen urge you to donate a gift to East Coast Radio’s Toy Story – all gifts go to needy children this festive season.

To Book:
Tickets are available at Computicket or directly from uShaka Marine World.
Prices are R95 for adults and R75 for children under the age of 12.
The show starts at 6.30pm.
For further information please call 031 328 8000.
