Ocean Grove Guest House

With its idyllic setting and luxurious rooms, this is an ideal venue for that romantic getaway or honeymoon …

Review by: Sabine, Heidelberg/Germany
We had a very nice stay at the Ocean Grove. Arthur is a perfect host and we enjoyed the beautiful guest house a lot. We had a wunderful brekfast and the restaurant recommendation was excellent. The house itself is a little paradise. Great ocean view – big garden – completely quiet and so relaxing atmosphere – wonderful beach walk with labrador Roxy. We will come back!

When staying at Ocean Grove you have access to the stunning pool and tennis court only a short walk from the beach. And if you feel you need to venture away from the property, Ocean Grove is close to 6 top golf courses and is only five minutes from San Lameer and ten minutes in either direction from Southbroom or the Wild Coast Sun and Casino.

PARADISE! ROYAL 5 STAR HOSPITALITY! Thank you Arthur, Ursula and Roxy! We had the most fabulous, relaxing and enjoyable holiday with 5 Star service. The accommodation was the best we have stayed in ever – beautfully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The entire guest house and beautiful grounds are spotless. The breakfasts are delicious, healthy and satisfying (we were full until evening!) with plenty of variety. And the service – we couldn’t have asked for anything more – it was faultless. Arthur and Ursula are both genuine, very nice, sincere and friendly, helpful people. We will most definitely be back – repeatedly!

About the Accommodation:
All five deluxe double rooms have full en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower. The spacious rooms can be fitted either with king-size, or twin beds, creating accommodation to suit your needs. Three of the rooms, Starfish, Dolphin and Pearl, have beautiful sea views with sliding doors leading onto a patio overlooking the sea. The fourth room, the Hibiscus, which also has its own private entrance, has a glorious landward view over the garden and rolling hills of the area. Rooms all have TV, personal safe and tea and coffee making facilities. The Pearl room is our most exclusive room. Ideally suited for honeymoon couples or that special romantic getaway. With more space than the other rooms, it is equipped with a chaise lounge, air-conditioning and its magnificent en-suite bathroom contains a Jacuzzi bath.
