I ♥ Polokwane

Hi, I’m Mmabogoshi Bella Msiza from Limpopo Guest Manor in Polokwane.

Polokwane IS BEST KNOWN FOR its warm climate and friendly people.

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AT Voortrekker Memorial & Wagon Tracks, because Voortrekker history is in evidence in the form of wagon tracks and is commemorated by a symbolic memorial to the 1838 Great Trek.

OTHER HAPPY SNAPS AT the Modjadji Rainforest.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S GOOD, I LIKE TO go horseback riding in the Polokwane Game Reserve.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, I LIKE TO take in a movie at The Mall of the North.

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS December, BECAUSE the summer weather, and adventures to Modjadji and Magoebakloof where you’d find waterfalls and tropical weather , offering a wide variety of outdoor activities such as abseiling, rock climbing and water sports.

MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST SPOT IS Limpopo Guest Manor, as we serve the most sumptuous continental and full English breakfast.

FOR LUNCH, I SUGGEST Cappuccino’s.

IF YOU WANT TO MEET LOCALS, GO TO Nguni’s and Rhapsody’s.

Polokwane’s BEST KEPT SECRET IS Melted Guns. All guns confiscated at the end of the Magoeba War in 1893 were melted into a mass of metal. Upon the building of a golf course in 1975, this was found and is now considered a gun memorial.

MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO WITH FRIENDS IS getting together for a spot of High Tea served at Limpopo Guest Manor.

MY DRIVE IS through the Polokwane Game reserve.

MY FAVOURITE designer SHOP IS Guess.

BEST CHEAP AND CHEERFUL OUTING IS to the Polokwane Bird & Reptile Park. Snake demonstrations are a popular feature of this attractive park.

WHEN MONEY’S NO OBJECT, I LIKE TO spend my time hunting. Polokwane is considered the premier hunting destination in South Africa or to walk with the lions at the Ranch.

MY FAVOURITE WEEKEND GETAWAY IS The Coach house in the Tzaneen Mountains.

WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I support our local business enterprises and make donations to the Samaritan Centre which is a HIV orphanage.
