I Love Tzaneen Because …

I ♥ Tzaneen

I ♥ Tzaneen

Hi, I’m Natalie from Tzaneen Country Lodge in Tzaneen.

Tzaneen IS BEST KNOWN as the fruit basket of South Africa and famous for its tropical fruits and extraordinary scenic beauty.

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AT Debegeni Waterfall – meaning the place of the Big Pot. (It’s a stunning waterfall with lush bush and vegetation).

THE BEST adventure PICTURES CAN BE TAKEN AT Magoebaskloof Canopy Tours while sliding through the indigenous forest on a 2½-hour Tarzan and Jane style adventure.

OTHER HAPPY SNAPS AT the dam wall of the Tzaneen Dam – the popular after-dinner walking spot of locals.

I ♥ Tzaneen

WHEN THE WEATHER’S GOOD, I LIKE TO go Tubing down the river with Magoebaskloof Adventure Centre.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, I LIKE TO take a Hot Stone Massage at the Earth Spa at Tzaneen Country Lodge.

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS all the time…
Spring, BECAUSE of the amazing display of our indigenous Wild Pear trees with thousands of angel-like white blossoms that dots all the roads around Tzaneen.
Summer, BECAUSE it is Firefly season and we see thousands of them at our dams at the Tzaneen Country Lodge and in the area.
Autumn, BECAUSE of the irresistible display of dark red and yellow autumn colours of the Kudu Berry trees in the area.
Winter, BECAUSE of the fantastic weather – not too cold and not too warm…

WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I donate food and clothes to local communities and schools.

The friendly smiles… The small town feel… Romantic nights… The happy place (another meaning of the name Tzaneen) or the place where people get together. A Place where you can arrive as a stranger, but will always leave as a friend…
