Hi, we are Sally and Ed from Bishop’s Cove in Eersterivier which is part of the Tsitsikamma.

EERSTERIVIER and Tsitsikamma ARE BEST KNOWN FOR its indigenous forest and high bridges over deep gorges.

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AT the beach or with dairy cows in good pastures.

OTHER HAPPY SNAPS AT well … anywhere in this beautiful area.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S GOOD, I LIKE TO walk and swim – we are spoilt for choice on this part of the Garden Route.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, I LIKE TO snuggle up in front of a roaring blaze with books and wine.

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS anytime, BECAUSE this is the best all year around.

Bishops Cove Lodge

Bishops Cove Lodge

Bishop’s Cove Lodge

The uniquely designed Bishops Cove Lodge is situated on one of the most spectacular sites on the Eastern Cape coast, in Tsitsikamma. To the south lies the pristine rugged coast with its ever changing ocean; to the east, a dramatic drop into the forested Boschkloof; to the North, a small stream gurgles through a steep valley hidden by its forest canopy; and to the west, a hill covered with fynbos protects the lodge from the occasional passing cold front. All this within a stones throw of the shaded verandas of the lodge.
