Weekly Events Round Up (20-26 Feb 2012)
The beginning of the harvest festivals marks the height of the summer season! This week wine connoisseurs will be delighted to be heading to the wine districts of South Africa for the start of the harvest festivals. For those who prefer bubbles we can suggest the beer festival or champagne house at the polo masters.
However there are a number of other exciting activities to attend from sporting events for energetic athletes, to a bridal fair for amorous couples, and for the energy conscious you can head to the Energy Indaba and Homemakers Expo.

Events in the Free State:
For an entertaining day out come along to the Gariep Dam from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 2012 February for the Quenna Festival where you can browse through more than 40 handpicked stalls, or grab a game of paintball and work up an appetite to enjoy the delicious food from the many stalls. Join us at the Clarens Craft & Beer Festival at the Clarens Village Square, Clarens, on Saturday 25 February 2012 where you can sample more than 50 different craft beers and ciders from across South Africa this event is a true celebration of craft beer.

Kings Park Stadium in Durban will be bringing the Rewind Festival to all of you who miss the 80’s on Saturday 25 February 2012, so come and join us for the huge line-up and relive the best of this awesome era with lots of exciting festival fun. Wine lovers should be heading to Robertson this weekend for the first of the harvest festivals at the Hands-on Harvest from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 February 2012. The Cape Winelands will be hosting a couple of harvest festivals this Saturday 25 February 2012 with the Spier Harvest Festival happening in Stellenbosch where you can enjoy a full day packed with harvest activities for both adults and children or head to Paarl for the Nederburg Harvest Day where you can participate in creating some of the winery’s award-winning wines. Also Paarl will be hosting the Veuve Clicquot Masters at Val de Vie Wine and Polo Estate so come along and rub shoulders with South African socialites, VIPs, celebrities and polo lovers for a glamorous day out.
