Hi Andrew

That's a great question and unfortunately one that I can't answer. I was able to find the following article: New Laws to Target Informal Trading, which was published in the Cape Times back in 2007, but I unfortunately can't find anything more recent. Perhaps one of our readers will know.

PS. I am also a great fan of funny money!

I am a particularly big fan of funny money, I think it is an awesome product that is well worth the couple of Rand they receive for the copies. In fact, I like it so much that I would like to see it done all over the City and country and would like to be involved in setting that up. My only concern, is whether it is legal to sell products at robots like this. Do you know, whether it is, or, if permission is required, how one would go about obtaining that? Kind regards
