Catch Dave Ferguson at The Grand Daddy

Dave Ferguson
Dave Ferguson is an urban legend in Cape Town. Real cowboy boots, a suitcase full of harmonicas, a hound-dog-belly-scratchin toe tap and an infectious box of beats – just add people – and its instant charisma!
Catch Dave in the Airstream Penthouse Park (a more appropriate venue you could not wish for) at Cape Town’s coolest venue, The Grand Daddy Hotel (38 Long Street, Cape Town), on 31 July and 14 and 28 August 2009. If the weather looks nasty, we will relocate into the warmth of the cool-but-not-in-a-cold-way Daddy Cool Bar …
Dave Ferguson’s solo show uses only harmonica, human beat-box and vocals, recording live loops and then layering and building those loops to construct a song. Doing mainly originals and some Blues /Americana and other unnexpected surprises thrown in for good measure.
