I ♥ Langebaan

Hi, I’m Shahn from The Farmhouse Hotel in Langebaan on the Cape West Coast.

Langebaan IS BEST KNOWN FOR it’s beautiful Lagoon, rich historical heritage, array of fauna & flora, delicious seafood, water sports and fun filled activities.

GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AT the West Coast National Park, it is one of the most popular attractions in Langebaan and has a rich historical history added to it. In the park there are many things to see and do such as bird watching, sightseeing, Geelbek restaurant and info centre, shark bay and even house boats.

THE BEST memorable PICTURES CAN BE TAKEN AT Postberg during flower season or during summer you just have to take a picture on Langebaan main beach.

OTHER HAPPY SNAPS AT the Fossil Park, your favourite restaurant or while going on a boat trip.

WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, I LIKE TO go shopping, visit my favourite restaurant or stay in doors and watch a movie.

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS between August and September, BECAUSE its flower season on The West Coast on of our most beautiful features apart from our stunning Lagoon. Here and there if you lucky you can even spot a whale while taking a boat trip.

MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST SPOT IS Lekka By Die See. To experience nature at its best so early in the morning in a great way to start your day.

FOR LUNCH, I SUGGEST Die Strandloeper, one of Langebaan’s cannot be missed restaurants. The specialise is more of a seafood cuisine and has most people talking about it for days.

MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IS Boesmanland Plaas Kombuis which serves traditional West Coast cuisine. With various buffets to choose from makes dinning in a different environment at its best, TRY THE Farmhouse Hotel Restaurant for a tasty traditional meals with a view. Friendly staff awaits you.

BEST LATE NIGHT SNACK FROM Wimpy Engen One Stop Garage or at Bonjour at the Total Garage in Langebaan.

FOR A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN TRY Funky Lemon or Wingerd or Flamingos night club.

WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I give my old clothes to less fortunate people and try and help people where I can in the community.

Sustainable and responsible tourism development is very important when wanting to make a success. I feel that most of our tourism products are natural and we have policies in place which protects our environment in order for all visitors to have a memorable stay each time they visit

I Love Langebaan because of its silent get away feature and relaxing environment. It is here where you can experience nature at its best.
