Parlotone’s at D’Aria on Valentines day

Send to Kindle

Are you looking for a way into your Valentine’s heart? Or would you just like to spoil your loved one? If you’ve answered yes then get a move on and book your tickets for the Parlotones live at D’Aria on Valentine’s Day (Sunday 14 February 2010).

The Parlotones have proved they are the biggest and most popular English Rock / Alternative band in South Africa, playing to huge, sol out crowds as well as performing next to well know international bands (i.e. Kings of Leon and Evanescence). I wasn’t surprised to find out that in the last 18 months the band has sold over 100 000 records and performed in over 300 shows.  They have also won numerous awards, for example the People’s Choice Award for Best Music Act in 2008 …

But why bring your Valentine to this show? I think it’s because this will be a perfect romantic setting, what better way to spend an afternoon in the beautiful winelands snuggled comfortably next to someone special while listening to South Africa’s hottest band.

The gates will open at 14h00 and you are encouraged to bring a blanket and picnic. You are not able to bring any of your own alcohol into the event, however D’Aria will have a selection of their award winning wines on sale as well as a number of other non-alcoholic beverages. And if you don’t want to bring your own picnic there will also be food on sale.

If it is a sunny day you are allowed to bring your umbrella or a gazebo to sit under, however you will be asked to take this down prior to the concert starting so everyone is able to see the band clearly. If you would prefer to sit on a chair you are also able to bring your own, but please sit at the back or on the sides also so no one else’s view is disrupted.

Tickets cost R150 per person and children under 12 are charged only R50.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.webtickets.co.za or directly from D’Aria on +27 (0)71 415-6985.
Remember tickets are limited, so get yours today!

Tania loves to cook and create magic in the kitchen for family and friends (or even just herself). Be it finding a new recipe or making a tried and tested dish from her recipe folder - the kitchen is her sanctuary. Find her hanging out with friends round the braai or curled up on the couch reading the latest crime drama. With a spring in her step and a song in her heart you’ll find her supporting local artists in theatre, music and dance – from a hip hop competition or the latest musical on stage at Artscape in Cape Town. Enjoying all things culture she likes to share her experiences and delights with those around her.
