Are you cold enough?

In the Western Cape we are accustomed to it getting really chilly in winter. And when its gets to a certain level of cold (you know — when you have to put extra logs on the fire, turn on another heater, get out a thicker pair of socks) then you know that there might be snow in Ceres ...
Yesterday was one of those days and a drive out to Ceres revealed enough snow for our two "snow scouts" to do a bit of snowboarding. I kid you not, they went snow boarding in Ceres! Last year all we got was a photo of a rapidly melting snowman — this year we have the full show — our snowboarder doing his thing on the slopes (all of about 10 metres worth) in Africa!
