I ♥ Salt Rock

Hi, I’m Louise Hill from Kingfisher Villa in Salt Rock.

Salt Rock IS BEST KNOWN FOR the lovely beaches. The beaches of KwaZulu Natal are lucky enough to have warm water pretty much all year around so a swim is always possible!

WHEN THE WEATHER'S GOOD, I LIKE TO be on the beach.

WHEN THE WEATHER'S BAD, I LIKE TO do the forest walk at Waterberry Cafe. The 150m path is well marked and is, in places, covered with a deck.  The forest is filled with bird life and make sure you look out for the resident buck that lives in the area.  After the walk treat yourself to a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious piece of cake that Waterberry is famous for!

I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS March, BECAUSE the weather is warm. The Dolphin Coast can be very hot and humid during the summer months but by March the weather is just perfect. Continued
