The main lodge houses the open plan living, dining and kitchen area as well as the main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. It is separated from the two bedroom cottage by a landscaped deck and pool area overlooking the spectacular west-facing views over the vineyards, valley and Table Mountain.
Things to Do During Your Stay
While the laid-back vibe has a lot to do with Stellenboschโs appeal, there is so much to do here. During your visit why not indulge at the Overture Restaurant at Hidden Valley Wines, enjoy wine tasting, cellar tours and chocolate and wine pairing. If that isn’t enough there are plenty spot to picnic and walking trails to stretch the legs. Don’t forget to visit the Sculpture studio while here.
About Stellenbosch
The beautiful little town of Stellenbosch, roughly an hour from Cape Town, lies surrounded by the Stellenbosch Mountains in the Jonkershoek River Valley in one of the most picturesque settings in the Cape. Not only does it have the oldest wine route in the country, and arguably the most famous, but the town has one of the most modern experimental wineries in the world. For the nature lover there are a number of excellent hikes in the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve.
