The luxury, award-winning Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa in Knysna on the Garden Route was the honeymoon destination of choice for popular American newlyweds Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney who met on the ABC show The Bachelor in 2009 during its 13th season, one of the most successful series of the show.
The couple recently spent several days of their romantic South African honeymoon at Pezula as Mr & Mrs Mesnick following their celebrity wedding in California.
Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa, one of the highlights of the couple’s South African honeymoon, provided the perfect backdrop for an African romance with its luxury accommodation, indigenous forests, fynbos landscapes, pristine river and secluded beach.
After enjoying the exciting city life of Cape Town, the newlyweds checked into Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa for several days of rejuvenation and privacy. During their stay the couple was treated to a gourmet picnic on Noetzie Beach, a horseback ride through the indigenous forest, a couples spa treatment at the award-winning spa, as well as canoe and hiking excursions and a private dinner prepared by Executive Chef Geoffrey Murray.
They also experienced a ‘romance’ bath of ylang ylang oil, garnered with rose petals and floating candles, a glass of bubbly and sweet fresh strawberries.
