Glentana’s BEST KEPT SECRET IS its peace and tranquility and yet it is within easy reach of many towns with restaurants, doctors, entertainment, malls, etc.
MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO WITH FRIENDS IS having a braai outside.
FOR SOME LIVE MUSIC, I LIKE TO GO TO De Dekke on a Wednesday or Saturday evening.
TO RELAX AND RESTORE MY SOUL, I LIKE TO sit on the bench in front of Outeniqua on C and watch the waves roll in and out.
IF YOU’RE FEELING ADVENTUROUS, TRY wind-surfing.
MY FAVOURITE DRIVE IS along the coast between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay, some of the most beautiful nature scenes in all of the world are to be found here on the Garden Route.
MY FAVOURITE SHOP IS … I don’t have a favourite shop, because there aren’t any! Glentana does not have any shops, but we are close enough to a number of towns where you can buy everything and anything you want / need.

IF YOU’RE HERE IN February, JOIN IN THE FUN AT the Dias Festival (Mossel Bay is only 30km away). The Buffalo Rally is held in March every year.

BEST CHEAP AND CHEERFUL OUTING IS playing on the beach or between the dunes.
WHEN MONEY’S NO OBJECT, I LIKE TO go to the KKNK (Annual Afrikaans Cultural Festival) in March / April only 80km from Outeniqua on C.
THE MOST UNUSUAL THING I SEE HERE IS the black oyster catcher breeding and hatching on the dune in front of Outeniqua on C.
MY FAVOURITE WEEKEND GETAWAY IS driving to one of the surrounding towns Knysna (Water Front), Mossel Bay, George, Oudtshoorn (Cango Caves, ostrich farms), Stilbaai, Plettenberg Bay for some sightseeing and eating out in one of the many fine restaurants.
WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I motivate my guests to respect mother nature and to uphold our best asset which is peace and quiet.
Be sure to visit the Wild Oat’s Farmer’s Market in Sedgefield held every Saturday. George also has a Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and Great Brak River has a Market every first Saturday of the month. Use Outeniqua on C as a base to explore The Garden Route and Little Karoo. We are within 80km radius from all places of historic, cultural, adrenalin-based and scenic interest in the area.
I Love Glentana BECAUSE when you drive down the hill from George airport’s side (only 15km from Outeniqua on C), you feel peace and quiet descend upon you.
