It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and I decided to take a walk down one of my favourite roads in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town – Kildare Road. You will find Kildare Road in the leafy, upmarket suburb of Newlands. If you are a cricket or rugby fan you probably know about Newlands as this is home to Cape Town’s cricket and rugby stadiums.
However this isn’t all that Newlands has to offer, next time you’re headed to a game stop and look at what you are walking past. You will find gorgeous buildings which are steeped in history and if you don’t find something to inspire you, you haven’t looked properly. I adore this suburb with its lush green gardens, cute houses and friendly atmosphere…
