We don’t see any answers to the questions above. This is a wonderful place to vissit but need to also know of a braai / picnic area close to the dam / river? We use to get in to an picnic area close to the river downstream from the dam. Now its owned by the resort. now its very expensive for the day to go down there. We don’t mind paying for entrance but please keep it reasonable aspecialy if we only need a place to sit and enjoy the nature and river, just to relax
