Once you’re lucky enough to have been on umpteen game drives and tried a walking safari or two, get up close and personal with South Africa’s wildlife on a horseback safari. If you’ve ever been on a nature walk and encountered Antelope, you’ll know you don’t see them for long. One whiff of “human” and they’re scampering off. If you’re on horseback, their senses are deceived and you’ll be able to meander among them.
Game viewing by horseback is an ideal activity in the predator-free Bonamanzi Park. A guide leads the way as your trusty steed clops along well worn paths and zebra, buck and wildebeest graze close by.
