WHEN THE WEATHER’S GOOD, I LIKE TO enjoy the outdoors by going for a run at Umdoni Park or a long walk along the beach. Why not make a day of it and head to Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve which offers its visitors a number of activities from hikes over River Rafting to Bungee Jumping.
WHEN THE WEATHER’S BAD, and I am still in the mood for some action I LIKE TO take a drive to Durban and get on the SkyCar at the new Moses Mabhida Stadium or I enjoy spending the day at uShaka Marine World which offers fun and attraction for the whole family.
I THINK THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT IS all year round, BECAUSE KwaZulu Natal South Coast has only 2 seasons โ summer and summer!
MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST SPOT IS Botha House with its famous homemade muesli.
FOR LUNCH, I SUGGEST Pennington Kiosk or the Yellowood Nursery. Donโt forget to book on Sundays as they can get very busy.
MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IS Enzos in Scottburgh as he offers the most delicious pizzas in his typical Italian restaurant.
Penningtonโs BEST KEPT SECRETS ARE the unspoiled beaches and the beautiful park where you can walk for hours without meeting another person โ just you and the birdlife.
MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO WITH FRIENDS IS play a round of golf or two at one of our fantastic golf courses, Selbourne or Umdoni Park.

MY FAVOURITE WEEKEND GETAWAY IS to the Underberg (Southern Drakensberg). Living at the sea, its just amazing that you can just hop in the car and after 2 hours you are in the middle of the mountains.
WHEN I WANT TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, I support and assist the new Pennington recycling system.
I Love Pennington BECAUSE especially coming from Germany I soon realised that it is just the most beautiful place in the world.
